GO Train Expansion in the Niagara Region
TORONTO – The team that’s worked relentlessly to bring GO Transit daily commuter rail service to Niagara says Thursday’s provincial budget is a clear commitment by the province to bring the service to this region.
Finance Minister Charles Sousa said that subject to agreement with freight rail partners, the province will continue to work toward two-way, all-day rail services at the Kitchener and Milton GO corridors, and extension of GO rail service to Niagara and Bowmanville.
